Witnessing To Them
 
The first thing I'd like to say here is a warning -- BE CAREFUL !!!  Regardless of anything you may have previously thought concerning Watch Tower Members (those____ JW's), the fact is that they are in exactly the same need of salvation, as you once were. (Or are if you can't say "I'm saved and born again.")

Listed below are some things you should make a little check list of as you decide to evangelize a bit:

  • 1. You are dealing with someone who does not have the power of the Holy Spirit in him/her.  That means simply that you are definitely dealing with the adversarial side of spirituality.
  • 2. Overwhelming the people they speak with is a major part of their training, so keep in mind that you will probably be outnumbered, unless you have a friend to aid you at the time you are engaged in conversation.
  • 3. You will need to be "prayed up" and led by the Holy Spirit in order to achieve something worthwhile.
  • 4. You should have your own copy of The New World Translation and have some familiarity with the mistakes in it.  Only in that way, can you begin to show where the KJV or whatever translation you are using, differs.  This will take away much of their ability to argue that "you don't know what their Bible says," which allows the argument for Bible Authority or accuracy.
  • 5. You should also visit other Websites that contain solid information concerning their organizaton.
  • 6.  You should have tracts or other literature, that prove you are a capable and willing (more if possible) to duplicate their methods of proselitizing.
  • 7.  Make "LOVE" you consistant and heartfelt aim.  Remember this little quote:


    •                 "Don't argue them to death, but rather, Love them to life."
