Satan roams the earth to and fro,
bringing pain, destruction and woe,
yet one day he came upon a man,
that even all his evil could not stand.

The devil strode down towards a lane,
and this man blocked him. Totally insane!
But try and try as the enemy might,
he knew that he would not win this fight.
Today the enemy tried to attack me,
when this man appeared to set me free.
He spoke and said, "You see that line?"
"You cannot cross it for this one is mine."

And Satan slithered away in defeat,
for this was one man he could not beat.
When I wondered who this could be,
I saw His nail scarred hands. Yes it was He.

There are many times in life when trouble draws near,
times when our lives seem to be drenched in fear,
but our Savior has draw "a line in the sand,"
a line of blood against which Satan cannot stand.
