Alternative
Life Styles
In our contemporary world, an ancient, yet new methodology of
the human experience, is the term used as a title for this
study. Many will vehemently disagree with the theology presented, but
if one claims the name "Christian" there can be
no alternative but to accept the Bible's teachings. Let us
explore the
subject very carefully.
Keeping in mind that the human historical accounting begins with God's
plan of creation and testing us. We should first
view exactly how God brought about the human race, and what the purpose
of this race was to be.
The first thing to do now is to be certain of understanding
the
plural nature (rather than singular) in the texts as is
shown in both the Authorized King James version, and The Bible in Basic
English. Just as God is uni-plural (triune in
nature, or a trinity) so too, mankind is composed of male and female.
See the following passages from Genesis 1.
26¶ And God
said, Let
us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of
the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over
all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God created he him; male and
female created he them. (KJV)
26 ¶ And
God said,
Let us make man in our image, like us: and let him have rule over the
fish of the sea and over
the birds of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and
over every living thing which goes flat on the
earth. 27 And God made man in his image, in the image of God he

Think about this for a moment. No matter where we turn to in earthly
Science or Nature, everything has a dualism. That is to say
there is hot and cold, light and dark and so on. Any exception to this
rule would be considered an alternate to the "norm." So let us now go a
step forward.

Keeping in mind that man is made in the image of God, and that
God is a Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), so too, mankind becomes
triune when children are
brought into a family to complete that plan of filling the earth
with humans. Have you ever considered this? And now let us
go even deeper into this subject and see how deviant a race of
people we became, after what we know as "the Fall."

And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and
the name of the other Zillah.

Here we have read of the first instance of deviation from what
God
planned for mankind, and was even taught in the early churches, as you
can see below.

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife,
and let every woman have her own husband.

But because of the desires of the flesh, let every man have his wife,
and every woman her husband.
Do we see anything that allows multiple wives
or husbands here? Certainly not, but a trend did start, and
would re-occur even after the flood and repopulating of the
earth. So we must conclude that the initial alternative life
style of humankind was the taking of more than one wife. We can still
see this in contemporary times among some people. Hence we
have the word "bigamy."
As time passed and both people and sin-filled living spread,
additional alternatives developed that challenged the "norm" God
intended for proper living. Let us look at the first example from
scripture, and then compare that with what was taught in the early
churches.
In Genesis 19: 1-11 we read the beginning of the account of Lot,
two angels, and the homosexual men of Sodom. Some people will
dismiss these passages as a mere tall tale, but consider what the
precedent is. First and foremost of course, is the deviant sexual
desire and life style that has been adopted. Not to be overlooked
is their disdain for women, and decency of any sort. They
had but one objective, to gain fulfillment of their desires or to make
Lot pay a heavy price for his refusal to allow the abuse of his guests,
the angels who appeared as men. There can be no more
graphic depiction of how such a disgusting "alternative life
style" homosexuality actually is.
Many attempts are being made to justify such behavior, but the fact of
the matter is, that there is no proven biological proof that genetics
are at work. Poor parental guidance and choice are the bottom
line of why men prefer to satiate themselves with other men, in order
to enjoy sexual satisfaction. We must also remember the word
"pedophile." But now, let us examine more from the New Testament and
include the women. See the following verses from the first
chapter of Romans
1:26
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their
women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

For this reason God gave them up to evil passions, and their women were
changing the natural use into one which is unnatural:
27 And
likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in
their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is
unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error
which was meet.

And in the same way the men gave up the natural use of the woman and
were burning in their desire for one another, men doing shame with men,
and getting in their bodies the right reward of their evil-doing.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
convenient;

And because they had not the mind to keep God in their knowledge, God
gave them up to an evil mind, to do those things which are not right;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,

Being full of all wrongdoing, evil, desire for the goods of others,
hate, envy, putting to death, fighting, deceit, cruel ways, evil talk,
and false statements about others;
Please take special notice of
verses 28,29, for within these verses are the corruption's that
surround
both the lesbian and homosexual agendas of convincing the world
that they should have equality with heterosexual people. Do you
feel that you can trust and rely on deceit as a legitimate
way to live? Do you feel they have a right to introduce your
children to such living and should be seen as responsible people with
a right to mold young minds through our classrooms, media and
pulpits? I say no!
We must at this point remind ourselves that it is not an acceptable
practice to carry on wife swapping clubs and such, as acceptable,
anymore than we should accept the porn industry's offerings. I
can understand how any number of difficult situations can occur,
especially with pubescence and teens. Certainly they are not as
mature and prepared to evade sexual exploration. One must never fail to
realize that in contemporary society, the older Christian foundations
of
one marriage, one family under God (and the nation) are being given
over to reprobate minds. Liars and connivers are being heralded
and yes, for a time they will have a power that must be
challenged. Why? Look at the verses from Proverbs 6
16 These
six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

Six things are hated by the Lord; seven things are disgusting to him:
17 A proud look, a lying
tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
17 Eyes of pride, a false
tongue, hands which take life without cause;
18 An heart that deviates
wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
18 A heart full of evil
designs, feet which are quick in running after sin;
19 A false witness that
speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
19 A false witness,
breathing out untrue words, and one who lets loose violent acts among
brothers.
Does it seem strange to see written so long ago, the very things that
are causing so much heartache today?
